Every product is excellent quality, from the budget gear to the premium. Fit-for-purpose benchrest gear is really hard to come by so when a talented designer and benchrest shooter makes a product for use in competition, you know it will be money well spent!

I’m the proud owner of this set of wind flags having upgraded from the original design. When you travel for competitions, you realise how much your kit can get knocked about and damaged in the car. This design solves that problem because of it’s lightweight 3D printed design. It stands up to bumps in the road without having to add much weight and as a result these flags adapt quickly to a change in wind conditions.

The yellow and pink colour scheme is actually incredibly helpful down range. The two colours contrast brilliantly and help to identify accurate directional wind changes, on even the darkest or cloudiest day. There’s an extendable ribbon holder too which makes a lot of sense because you can add additional clamps to the tripod to hold light wind indicators (optional but very helpful on calm days). The extensions stop the ribbons on the wind flag from getting tangled up in them. It’s a genius little addition that really sets these flags out from other flags you see in the field. Literally no other flags I’ve seen have this feature and once you know, you absolutely KNOW.

I came to ETS asking for advice when adding light wind indicators to my tripods and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They recommended some parts I could use and I now have 3 wind flags that can be used in any wind conditions, without having to modify them for the environment on the day.

I haven’t seen other options available for sale that even come close to this level of design or quality. Beware of cheap imitations. They probably won’t be fit for purpose and you’ll have to buy again. Buy once. This new, durable design should provide years and years of service. You may argue that they will never need to be replaced! 10/10
